Murals and Stenciling
I worked for 10 years as a mural painter and specialist paint finisher in London and abroad, designing and creating work alongside interior designers and with private clients. In 2000, I took time out to bring up my children but soon began cutting stencils to decorate the walls of our house in Bristol. Pictured above, to the left, is a chinoiserie inspired repeat, featuring escaped lovebirds, their cages and cherry blossom.
On the right: a pattern inspired by a visit to Giffords circus. This motif has also been reproduced in other colourways and on large movable stretched canvases for subsequent clients.
The image in the middle was one of three murals, painted with my husband Simon Tozer for Flavourz Restaurant, formerly sited at the bottom of Colston street in Bristol.
I am also experienced in creating many specialist paint effects and faux finishes. I have occasionally taken on commissions to paint murals in recent years, however my focus is now on my textiles.
Over the next few years I will be developing a range of wallpapers to compliment my textile designs.
